With nearly four decades of teaching and leadership experience, Ms. Nalini Ponnappa brings a deep understanding of how children learn. She holds a Master’s in Education and has taught across Kodagu, Delhi, Lagos, and Bangalore. Joining Vidyaniketan in 1989, she played a pivotal role in its growth from a single room to one of Bangalore’s most reputed schools. Our classroom structure is based on cooperative learning. Students sit in teams of 4 and the strength of the class is 32. Hence, there are 8 teams in the class. One teacher per subject.

3. What are the school timings?
The school timing is between 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM from Monday to Friday.

4. What kind of co-curricular activities are available at Vidyashilp School?
Vidyashilp School, Banashankari ensures to provide students with a variety of choices when it comes to Co-curricular activities such as Physical Education, Dance, Music, Yoga, Gita Reading, Shloka Chanting, Theatre, Chess & Value Education.

5. What are the arrangements for safety and security on campus?
Vidyashilp School, Banashankari is under 24/7 CCTV surveillance. We provide round-the-clock security on campus. The staff is adept at managing the student’s well-being. They are trained in first aid, fire safety and undergo professional development courses throughout the year.

Dr. P. Dayananda Pai is a visionary educationist, philanthropist, and the Managing Trustee of the Vidyashilp Education Group. He co-founded Vidyashilp and Vidyasagar, and has served in numerous leadership roles—Trustee of B.M.S. Educational Trust and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, syndicate member at NIT Surathkal and Manipal University.
