Dr. P Dayananda Pai is a prominent educationist, philanthropist and leading real estate developer in Bengaluru. Apart from being the Managing Trustee of Vidyashilp Education Group, Dr. Pai is also the Board Trustee of B.M.S. College as well as Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, and a Trustee of Karnataka Chitrakala Parishad. He is also the syndicate member of Manipal University and the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal. He has served as the former syndicate member of Mangalore University.
Dr. Kiran Pai (Ed.D.), Managing Director of Vidyashilp Education Group, is also an Educational Psychologist with expertise in Instructional Design. She holds a Doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership and a Master's in Learning Design and Technology from USC. Recipient of the 2021 Doctoral Distinction Award, 2020 Kappa Delta Pi Honors, and the World Education Congress' 50 Innovative Leaders Award, she champions inclusive, future-focused learning.
With nearly four decades of teaching and leadership experience, Ms. Nalini Ponnappa brings a deep understanding of how children learn. She holds a Master's in Education and has taught across Kodagu, Delhi, Lagos, and Bangalore. Joining Vidyaniketan in 1989, she played a pivotal role in its growth from a single room to one of Bangalore's most reputed schools. Under her guidance, students thrived both academically and in extracurricular pursuits. This is a testament to her vision and dedication to holistic education.
Ms. Sheeja Menon, the founding Principal, is a passionate educator with a PG Diploma in International Education, a Bachelors in Education and a TESOL certification as an English Trainer. With over 15 years of experience across national (ICSE, CBSE) and international (IB, IGCSE) curriculum, she has contributed to reputed institutions including NPS East, Chrysalis High, Greenwood High, and Indian School Muscat. She has designed and spearheaded child-centric events that integrate life skills with the rigour of curriculum, ensuring the holistic development of children. She has overseen affiliation and certification processes and mentored teachers through professional development workshops.
